This is a hype-up post. Here we go.
January doesn’t have to suck. (Neither does February… We’ll get there.) We’re going to go easy on ourselves this month, set some goals, and take loooooots of deep breaths.
You are strong and awesome.
You are you and no one else, which makes you the only expert on being you. You’re killing it, by the way.
You don’t have to do all the things all the time. High expectations are good, but realistic ones are better.
You are beautiful, of course, but that’s not what makes you valuable or worthwhile.
You are kind and full of love, and the people in your life feel lucky to know you. They really do.
No one is going to dock your pay if you don’t keep your Resolutions, just as an aside.
Your health, physical and mental, is important. Your people need you to be healthy. Doing things to stay healthy is the opposite of selfish – it’s an act of love both for you and your people.
It’s ok to feel down sometimes. Take your breaths, think your thoughts, and remember your value.
Alright, let’s set our goals, be grateful for the good people and things in our lives, and take the tasks and worries one at a time. Were some of these statements aimed mostly at myself? Yep, absolutely, but they were also meant for you because I love you and think you’re amazing. Feeling the hype! Woo!
